Story behind my successful career

While there are as many ways to define success as there are people, there is one thing we all have in common: We're all trying to be more successful.
Journey behind my successful career-
After the completion of my engineering from CSE, I found myself in the middle of nowhere. I saw no future of mine as a software engineer. I was not at all good in coding thing. Even today, I don't know how to make programs for simple addition of two variable. I always thought that I have ruined my career but deep down I had a strong feeling that this is nothing in front of other struggles. I changed my mindset abruptly & started exploring options and again found myself somewhere in between the decision "whether to go for Mtech or MBA". Being a Computer Science student I had a bit pressure from my family to go for Mtech. But, I knew my career in Mtech. I knew that there would be no growth if I go for Mtech. I went against my family decision and decided to go for MBA. I applied for CAT, joined career launcher Indore and started taking it seriously.

Unfortunately, I got into another health issue i.e; headache(I felt it’s brain tumor, by lord’s grace it was not) and I had have another problem of migrane(One side of your head with start giving you immeasurable pain).I still remember there were a couple of nights in 2018 when I used to wake up at mid nights because of headache and used to cry for the whole nights.
Still, I didn’t give up. I continued the preparations, unfortunately I couldn’t make CAT exam a success for my career but I scored good in NMAT and got ISBR Bangalore.
And then, the real game began.
I joined ISBR Bangalore in 5th August 2019, had an extraordinary first semester, everything was going well but mundanity was there, that’s something I abhor the most.
All of a sudden, Covid-19 hit India hardly un 2020(March) and then, my MBA classes went for a toss.
I came back to home, started attending online classes which were quite good but still I found no growth in my career on daily basis. So, I started exploring options. I have a strong social media connections and got my first opportunity with the help of one of my good friends(Surendra) and got into my first internship (GrowthMart) where I got an amazing team and I loved the experience and then, with a 3 months experience in Marketing, I started looking for anothet opportunity without a pause. Within 2 3 days I got another opportunity (Virtuera) where I got an amazing team again and learned good things. I used to back off from the opportunities where I saw no growth and I am glad for whatever decision I took that time.
And then, I continued this flow. I started getting one after one opportunity and by the end of 2020 I had a handful of opportunities because of my previous works. People use social media to waste their time even I used to do this when I was a teenager. Being a grown up girl,I knew my responsibilities towards my family and my career. I knew that my younger sister is staying with me, she has an eye on me, whatever she will become in future there would be a small contribution of my habits and growth. I wanted to make her proud.

I started using LinkedIn aggressively to look for various opportunities. There was a continuous flow of getting opportunities from LinkedIn for writer and marketer position. Fortunately, I was hard working and a result-oriented employee for all of them. At the very beginning of my career in marketing I got lot of unpaid opportunities as they were also start ups and I had to learn various things that's why without any objection I joined all unpaid works that came across my career path. You should learn to work at the very beginning of your new career and not earn to work. Make a note of it.
Once I realized that I have learned it thoroughly I decided to accpet only paid works. So, first thing that I do is "I opened myself on LinkedIn for work" , and the second thing was "whatever options I used to receive I made thing's clear that I won't entertain any unpaid opportunity ". And these, two things changed my life drastically.
Now, I am working for Lustro(US Based company), Read India Celebration(Campaign), IARC(Campaign), viAct(Hong Kong based company), ISBR Bangalore blogging work(My college), also placed from college in System Controls Bangalore. Besides, I am accepting a few contractual works. Talking about earning,I am earning about 40k+ per month(From April).

You see me as a successful person, you only see the public glories that I shared, never the private sacrifices that I didn't share with anyone.

Getting into a permanent job is not an easy thing. You have to work hard to achieve success. Joining a college, getting placed from college is the thing for ordinary people, if you want to look unique you have to get out of the crowd.
Try to manage your time in an efficient manner. Make sure you are doing something new on daily basis.
The hopes of the future always lie in the hands of the people who will be there to shape and craft it; the youngsters. They’re the ones who are going to inherit the messes left to them by the previous generation, and the ones who might just do better than in the past. You won’t have to stay in the classroom forever, or even want to, for that matter, because very often the biggest changes come not from the classroom, but from the halls of power. Because of this change we are free to learn and explore new things. Spread your wings and start flying towards the sky of a better tomorrow. Sometimes all you need is one little spark.
Start today, tomorrow never comes!!
Best wishes!!
